The International Award Ceremony of the 5th International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC 2019) was held on July 23 on the 19th International Conference on International Conference on the Teaching of Mathematical Modelling and Applications (ICTMA 19) in Hong Kong.
This year's problem of International Round is "What is the Earth's carrying capacity for human life?". This problem required students to find out the Earth's carrying capacity for the development of human activities under current situation.
The 5 teams of Meritorious Award 2019 are as follows (in no particular order)

The 5 teams shared their unique experience through videos and presented their papers in front of the scholars and audience to demonstrate how to use mathematical modeling to solve real world problems.
